A student and a graduate of Al-Quds Open University obtain two patents from the Ministry of National Economy

 Two projects, for a graduate and a student of Al-Quds Open University, obtained patents from the Ministry of National Economy, among  (8) other winning projects. This was announced in a ceremony held by the Ministry of Economy in the presence of His.Excellency Minister of National Economy, Khaled al-Osaily, and the Chairman of High Council for Innovation & Excellence, Eng. Adnan Samara, in addition to representatives from public and private sectors

The first winning project belongs to QOU Graduate Ibrahim Zawahreh  who obtained a patent for inventing a smart bed for bedridden patients, which changes the positions of the patient left and right automatically without depending on another person, through a timer that can turn the patient  over to the right or left, knowing that the patient must be turned every two hours, the device continues to perform this task unless the person responsible for it stops it.

The second project belongs to Mahmoud Masaeed, a student at the Faculty of Agriculture, who obtained a patent for his work "Integrated Environmental Agricultural Machine", a machine that saves time and effort by doing more than one job at the same time. The machine ploughs and prepares the soil to start the cultivation process, iit also  collects plastics from the agricultural land, levels the soil, and sets a mechanical and non-mechanical irrigation network in a way that increases productivity.
