Since its inception, the University seeks to be an active member in the society. The Branches of the University are spread throughout the various governorates of the country and its services access all segments of the society. The University has its obvious impact on the citizens as an employer, a neighbor, a counsellor and a teacher.

In addition to the number of enrolled students, the Palestinian society is connected to the University in different ways, which increase the opportunities of interaction on various levels. These opportunities include joining the Continuing Education Center, the Open Learning Center, attending public meetings organized by the University, attending special events and seminars, communicating with the University's educational network and participating in awareness activities targeting schools, educational and social gatherings and other means of communication.
