Ramallah and Al-Bireh Branch participates in the Palestine Challenge for Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence

 Al-Quds Open University Branch in Ramallah and Al-Bireh participated in the Palestine Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence Challenge, which was organized at the Cultural Palace in Ramallah.

The university's participation came through the project of smart parental control system, which was implemented by student Abdul Rahim Barghouthi, under the supervision of Dr. Majed Hamayel, where the project went through a preliminary phase of the participation of 225 projects at the level of Palestine, of which 24 were selected to participate in this phase.

The project dealt with the idea of investing technology in the development of monitoring and control tools within the family, through several uses, such as determining the time of the Internet use of connected devices within the same network, in addition to monitoring the use of various sites and applications, blocking specific applications or sites, determining the location of the users of the devices, in addition to switching on /off mobile devices without the need to connect to the Internet.
