QOU, the main coordinator of the “"Precision Agriculture in Palestine: Boosting Innovation in Education and Scientific Research" "BENEFIT", held the fifth administrative meeting in Ramallah on Sep 17-20.

The meeting agenda included a review of the activities and outputs recently accomplished by all partners, with a focus on the need to demonstrate the impact of these outputs on the educational process in Faculties of Agriculture in Palestine by increasing the effectiveness of various communication channels and project-specific contacts by everyone. The meeting also discussed the activities that need to be completed during the remaining period of the project, which ends in November 2023.

The meeting also included a field visit to the Agricultural Research Center of QOU in Jericho to learn about the incubator activities established at the center through the project, as well as the devices and equipment that have been installed, operated, and currently used in educational and research processes.

In addition to QOU, the meetings were attended by Al-Quds University, Hebron University, Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, An-Najah National University, Al-Istiqlal University, and the College of Applied Sciences besides Four European universities: Slovak University of Agriculture – Nitra, University of Patras - Greece, Rosa University - Bulgaria, and Institute of Technology and Business - Czech Republic.
