Al-Quds Open University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and in partnership with five Palestinian universities; organized a graduation ceremony of the first cohort of Early Childhood Diploma within Promoting Early Childhood Development Project, funded by the World Bank. The graduation ceremony took place under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Prof. Marwan Awartani, and the President of QOU, Prof. Samir Najdi at the University's Theater in Nablus.

This program uses innovative teaching methods, such as learning through play, to enhance the cognitive abilities of kindergarten teachers. 47 female trainees graduated from the education directorates in Tubas, Qabatiya and Jenin, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and in partnership with five Palestinian universities.
