Prime Minister, Dr. Mohammad Shtayeh, honored Dr. Eng. Islam Amr, Assistant to the President of QOU for Technology and Media Production and Director General of Al-Quds Educational Channel, for his efforts in contributing to the success of the four annual security sessions of the Palestinian Preventive Security conference.

The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Jericho and Al-Aghwar, Major General Jihad Abu Al-Asal, the head of the Palestinian Preventive Security Service, Major General Ziyad Hab Al-Reeh, Director of the Interpol office in Palestine and a number of officials of the security services.

Dr. Eng.  Amr, gave a valuable scientific lecture in which he shed the light on cyber exploitation in the spread of extremist and terrorist ideology and ways and means to combat this thought through increasing the awareness of the society to the dangers of extremist thought.

 

The conference, which focus on protecting the Palestinian citizen from cybercrimes, is held under the guidance of President Mahmoud Abbas by the efforts of the Palestinian Preventive Security and under the patronage of the Prime Minister.
