The Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Applied Sciences Prof. Yousef Abu Zer, and the Head of the Technology Research Unit at the ICTC Dr. Bassam Turk, participated in the academic exchange program within the agreement signed between QOU and the University of Patras .

Prof. Youssef Abu Zer participated in a number of sessions in the field of Knowledge Graphs and Neo4J. Dr. Bassam also participated in a number of meetings during which he talked about machine learning, Data Preparation and Scaling, Sampling Methods, and Performance Metrics with applications using Python.

The program included a visit to the various facilities of the university and a visit to Erasmus+ office  represented by the Director of the office, Dr. Maria Kotsari, and a visit to the Head of Computer and Information Engineering Department Prof. Gallipolis Efstratios, and to the Vice-president of the university Prof. Nikos K Karamanos, who emphasized the importance of this academic cooperation and exchange .
