QOU and Community Based Rehabilitation Society Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

 QOU and the Community-Based Rehabilitation Society signed a Memorandum of Understanding which aims at providing field training to the University students and raising awareness about disability issues.

The MOU also aims at highlighting the role of the disabled persons in the media at Al-Quds Open University, headed by Al-Quds Educational Channel and providing access to the scientific research of the Society and directing the teaching staff to carry out researches and studies related to disability issues.

Prof. Amr pointed out that Al-Quds Open University is one of the first universities that dealt with people with disabilities and added that QOU is a disability friendly institution. Prof. Amr also expressed the University interest in any cooperation to provide service to this group of our people who exceeds 5% of the Palestinian society.

The signing of the memorandum was attended by Dr. Imad Hodali, the Assistant of the President of the University for Public and International Relations and Media, Dr. Alaa Shakhshir, The Assistant of the President for Follow-up Affairs, and Dr. Hussein Hamayel, Director of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Branch. In addition to Ms. Birlam Irfaiyya, the General Supervisor of Community Based Rehabilitation Society.
