Prof. Younes Amr, President of Al Quds Open University, delivered a lecture on the city of Jerusalem and ways to support the steadfastness of the Jerusalemites and stand by them in their struggle against the aggression and the Judaization of Jerusalem that they face.

This came during a symposium organized by the Ministry of Culture in Jericho on "Jerusalem and its History" within the activities of the National Culture Day and "Jerusalem: the Capital of Arab and Islamic Culture"

Prof. Amr said that the real conflict in Jerusalem today is a demographic conflict, so it is necessary to provide all means of support to the Jerusalemites, calling on the Arab and Islamic nations to provide financial support to the people of Jerusalem to enable them to withstand the colonial plans.

At the end of the symposium, Ms. Maysoun Brahma, the Director of the Ministry of Culture office in Jericho, and General Major Tawfiq Al-Tirawi honored Prof. Younes Amr for his efforts in collecting historical information about Jerusalem and writing about it for the different generations to know the importance of preserving this city.
