Under the auspices of Prof. Younes Amr; The Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al-Quds Open University, Tubas Branch and the Directorate of Education in Tubas organized a training course entitled "Contemporary Trends in Learning and Education”. The training targeted a group of primary stage teachers at the primary school boys in Tubas.

At the opening of the session, Mr. saed Qabaha,the Director of Education and Higher Education in Tubas, stressed the close cooperation between the Directorate and Al-Quds Open University, pointing out the importance of the topics covered by the training course, and that it came to meet the needs of teachers

 The Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences Prof. Majdi Zamil, talked about the importance of the training courses and its subjects: Contemporary strategies in education, the use of technology in teaching and learning, and Action Research, which represent a basis for the Palestinian teacher and meet important needs in light of the development in the current century. The training course is supervised by two staff members of the Faculty of Educational Sciences: Mr. Saed Rabaya Head of First Basic Stage section and Mr.  Mohammed Abu Mailek Learning Resources and Learning Technology Coordinator. The training course is implemented according to the latest training strategies, and continues for three days.
