The Directorate of Education and Higher Education in Ramallah and Al-Bireh honored participants in the Excellence and Achievement Award in Supporting Education in Palestine.  Prof.  Husny Awad, Dean of Graduate studies and Scientific Research and Prof. Majdy Zamel, Dean of Educational Science, were honored for their initiative that aims at spreading the culture of scientific research among teachers. The initiative focuses on a major issue in teaching and learning through providing libraries with specialized papers and electronic textbooks and references for the use of students and teachers who are enrolled in cooperating schools through their studies of practical education courses, while Dr. Yousef Sabbah was honored for his initiative on institutional and programmatic evaluation at universities.
