Al-Quds Open University obtained accreditation from The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQAS) / Ministry of Education and Higher Education for the BA program in Libraries and Information Technology.

In this regard, QOU received a letter from HE Sabri Saidam, Minister of Education and Higher Education stating that: "The results of the program assessment of the Bachelor  degree of Libraries and Information Technology showed that it meets the requirements for granting the relevant accreditation, and based on Article 21 of the Law of Higher Education No. 6 of the year 2018, we are pleased to inform you of the approval to launch the program, starting from the first semester of  the academic year 2019/2020.

The President of the University Prof. Younes Amr expressed his delight with this new accreditation pointing out that the University is in the process of offering more new programs to serve our people.
