His Excellency, President Mahmoud Abbas, met with the Chairman of QOU’s Board of Trustees, Eng. Adnan Samarah, and QOU’s President, Prof. Younes Amr, at the presidential headquarter in Ramallah on Saturday.

 

QOU’s delegation presented a report on the achievements of the University for the year 2018, and its endorsed development plans, especially with regard to its exerted efforts, research centers, and partnerships with Palestinian, Jordanian and international universities.

 

The delegation referred to the University's efforts to open branches abroad to serve Palestinians in the diaspora, especially in Syria and Lebanon. Moreover, the delegation indicated the importance of the great support and attention given by His Excellency to the University to facilitate education to Palestinians, especially the families of martyrs, injured, prisoners and women.
