On Monday 29/10/2018, QOU President Prof. Younis Amr and Hebron Mayor Mr. Tayseer Abu Snaineh announced launching the organizing of an international scientific conference entitled “new approaches to municipalities’ management and improving the quality of performance” in a press conference held in Hebron municipality.  

The press conference was attended by a number of journalists from different agencies in addition to a number of the researchers and organization’s and a number of municipality council members. Prof. Amr indicated in the press conference that the conference to be organized would participate in empowering the local authorities, enrich its resources and guarantee its efficiency in implementing its role through acquiring the needed capacities, which will support the steadfastness of our people on its lands in front of the challenges enforced by the occupation.
