QOU officially joined the UNIMED SubNetwork on Mediterranean Tourism that aims at enhance research cooperation between the member universities and build joint projects and partnerships in the field of tourism.
The Vice President for Public and International Relations and Media Affairs Office in cooperation with the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences at the University submitted an application and was chosen beside An-Najah National University to represent Palestine in the network. QOU is represented in the network by the Vice President for Public and International Relations and Media Affairs Dr. Eng. Imad Hodali and Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences Prof. Yousef Abu Fara as the University is planning to launch a new major in tourism management.
UNIMED is an academic network that was established in 1991 in the Italian capital Rome that gathers 112 from 23 countries. The network aims at improving scientific research and education in the Mediterranean region and empower cooperation between the member universities.
