On Tuesday 16/10/2018, QOU launched “City of Peace” exhibition at Commodore Hotel in Gaza under the instructions of QOU President Prof. Younis Amr and the auspices of HE Minister of Culture Dr. Ihab Bsieso and the sponsorship of “Mashareq” Company.

This exhibition was held on the margin of "Jerusalem: the heart of the Arab-Israeli conflict (a strategic vision towards the future)" conference that was organized by the Faculty of Educational Sciences under the auspices of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Eng. Adnan Samarah. This exhibition presents ten stages of the history of Jerusalem in expressive paintings by Palestinian artists.   

The exhibition was opened by Gaza Governor Mr. Ibrahim Abu Al-Naja, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Prof. Riyad Al-Khudari, the Member of the Board of Trustees Dr. Abdulalla Abdulminim, the Vice President for Gaza Strip Affairs Prof. Jihad Al-Batsh and a number of academic figures, in addition to the students.

The exhibition included works of 11 fine artists who presented distinctive artistic works that impressed the audience.
