A group of QOU students at Bethlehem branch succeeded in developing a smart bed that supports patients with movement disabilities especially after surgeries or those who have permanent movement disabilitie.

Ibrahim Awadallah, Arwa Abu Ghiada and Ghadir Hmamreh under the supervision of Dr. Abdulrahim Atawneh developed this innovation at Bthlehem branch. The students worked for a year to come up with this innovation in the aim of serving their community, they hope that their efforts will be adopted by the concerned authorities to be developed in a way that will serve the Palestinian community at large.
