The world az-excellence website announced the selection of two of Al Quds Open University graduates among the outstanding minds and innovative creative thinking list at world level.
Mr. Mahmoud Rawajba, QOU graduate, established a pioneering work methodology that led him to the first place in many institutions and fields, and Ms. Hanan Al- Hroub, schoolteacher, who was awarded the best teacher award in the world in 2016.
Mr. Rawajba is the Innovation Specialist at Dubai Customs and is called by the "Innovation Pioneer" for the exceptional performance and thinking he has proved at the UAE University in Al Ain city of Abu Dhabi. The cumulative return on the implementation of the ideas and innovations of development and the resulting rationalization of expenditures since the inception of the systems of ideas and proposals in Dubai Customs in 2004 and until the end of 2015 amounted to about one billion seventy million dirhams, of which more than (100) million dirhams as annual revenues of continuous innovations that have been implemented since 2014 at the Dubai Customs Department.
Hannan Hroub, a graduate of Al-Quds Open University, has taken a special approach to education that helps children overcome the trauma they experience and leed them to violence. In 2016, Ms. Al Hroub won the World's Best Teacher award from the UK's Varkey Foundation.
Prof. Younes Amr. The President of the University mentioned that the University gives special attention to its students, especially the outstanding ones, special attention pointing out to the occupation of many graduates of senior positions, whether in the governmental, public or private sector.
