QOU concludes its participation in the Annual Student Conference of the Association of Deanships of Student Affairs

 Al-Quds Open University, represented by the Head of the Student Activities Department, Mr. Bahaa Ibrahim, participated at the “The Annual Student Conference of the Association of Deanships of Student Affairs for the year 2024”, held at Al Ain University, and organized under the patronage of HH Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions. The conference's theme was "Sustaining Higher Education in light of COP28," and was attended by 54 students and 8 researchers from Arab nations, including the Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq.

The conference included several topics, including “Basic Medical Sciences,” “Sustainable Development and the Role of University Students in Promoting it,” in addition to “Artificial Intelligence and its Role in Creating New opportunities in the Labor Market,” and “Digital Media and its Role in Supporting Innovation and Leadership among University Students".

Manar Abu Sariya, student at QOU in Jerusalem branch participated in the conference, in her research titled “The Role of Universities in Reducing Educational Loss in order to Achieve Sustainable Development,” under the supervision of Dr. Randa Al-Najdi, and the student Amir Malhis from the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Branch, participated in his the research titled “ “Health and its role in the lives of university students,” under the supervision of Dr. Moatasem Musleh
