The President of Al-Quds Open University visits The Counsellor of Oman's Embassy to the State of Palestine

 Prof. Samir Najdi, President of Al-Quds Open University, paid a visit to His Excellency Counsellor  Salem bin Habib Alomairi, Head of Oman's Embassy to the State of Palestine, at the embassy headquarters in Ramallah. During their meeting, they discussed potential cooperation.

Prof. Najdi, thanked His Excellency for the  continuous support for the Palestinian cause and the institutions of the State of Palestine, especially the educational process at “Al-Quds Open University,” and supporting the University's role in serving the people of this country, stressing that “QOU was established in challenging circumstances, and is  harnessing all the capabilities to maintain the progress of the educational process”  and added: “We are now working to open the door for our students in the Gaza Strip to resume their education in light of the difficult circumstances that our people in the Strip are going through.” Prof. Najdi also talked about the international education program offered by QOU in many nations throughout the world empahasizing that QOU pursues permanent and continuing development at a rapid and consistent pace to enrich education.

In turn, His Excellency  Alomiri thanked QOU for its role in consolidating Palestinian academic relations with the Sultanate of Oman, emphasizing his confidence in Palestinian educational institutions and their outputs, particularly Al-Quds Open University graduates who "represent Palestine competently in international forums."
