QOU prepares for 13th ICT Day entitled "Technology and Law"

 Eng. Sa’adeh Shalabi, Assistant Director of the ICT Center at Al-Quds Open University announced that QOU is preparing to hold its 13th ICT Day entitled "Technology and Law" at the end of this month . It is worth mentioning that QOU has been holding its ICT Day continuously for the last 13 years. It will focus on several topics, including:

* Challenges that meet the implementation of the provisions of the law with respect to different ICT technologies

* Strengthening awareness-raising platforms in the field of law and justice in Palestine، as well as ensuring the dissemination of laws that have been endorsed in order to ensure raising the level of awareness in the areas of rights and laws of the Palestinian citizen.

* Raising awareness and knowledge among graduates of law in Palestinian universities in the fields of information and communication technology in order to ensure more strength and integrity in the Palestinian judiciary and law.

* Providing research and scientific interventions related to different ICT technologies in supporting the application and development of the provisions of law in Palestine.

* Providing ideas, initiatives and technological solutions that may contribute to reducing obstacles that face the application of the provisions of the law using different ICT technologies.

* Future relationship between law and technology in the virtual world.

The main speakers at the conference are specialists in justice and technology sectors, as well as academics at Faculties of Law in Palestinian universities.
