Al-Quds Open University Participates in the Graduation Ceremony of the Participants in the UNESCO TVET4Future Training of Trainers (ToT) Program

Al-Quds Open University, represented by Dr. Mahmoud Hawamdeh, Director of the Center for Digital Learning and the Center for Continuing Education, and Eng. Sa’eda Abu Halawa, Head of Project Management Unit, participated in the closing ceremony of the the UNESCO TVET4Future (ToT) Program. The ceremony was held at Carmel Hotel in Ramallah on Wednesday 12/14/2022, in the presence of UNESCO Ramallah’s Head of Office and Representative, Ms. Noha Bawazir, representatives of the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Labor, Social Development, and Entrepreneurship & Empowerment, and the Head of the National Commission of TVET

UNESCO is working with its partners in Palestine through (TVET4Future) project which is supported by the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel) to enhance the development of a sustainable, green, and inclusive TVET sector that can keep pace with the rapid technological advancements of the 21st century. The (ToT) program is seen as a crucial component as it seeks to upskill participants in digitization, 21st century skills, green skills and entrepreneurship.

 

The program combined theory and practice to allow participants to see examples of what they learn in real-life contexts.
