QOU and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bethlehem sign a cooperation agreement

 On Monday, Al-Quds Open University and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bethlehem signed a cooperation agreement between the two sides. The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by Dr. Asaad Al-Awiwi the Director of its Branch in Bethlehem, and by the Mr. Vasily Frolov, the Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture.

The agreement aims to enhance capabilities in the field of international humanitarian cooperation, contribute to strengthening friendship relations, enhance Russian-Palestinian relations, and exchange scientific and technological benefit and cultural interaction between Al-Quds Open University and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bethlehem.

 The agreement also includes the exchange of delegations for consultation at various levels, assistance in organizing the exchange of youth within the framework of short-term study visits by youth representatives from political, social, scientific and foreign business circles to the Russian Federation, and holding conferences, seminars, lectures, festivals and competitions. The agreement also includes cultural cooperation by taking into consideration the interests of different age and social groups, especially students, and taking action to promote ethnic and religious tolerance, public education, and eradicate illiteracy.
