QOU graduate wins first place nationwide in the "PolyUp" Competition

 Al-Quds Open University graduate, Ms. Elham Kanaan, was ranked first place in the "polyUp" Competition sponsored by Al-Quds University in partnership with Partners in Sustainable Development - Palestine Branch.

The competition aimed to convert abstract mathematical theories into interactive, computerized educational methods to develop the educational process and bring mathematics closer to reality.

It is worth mentioning that Ms. Kanaan graduated from the Faculty of Educational Sciences specialized in Mathematics in 2012 and ranked first in her class. Ms. Kannan attended an online training course at Stanford University, one of the largest American universities, to develop her capabilities.

The President of the University, Prof. Younes Amr, praised the achievement of Ms. Kannan, which is to be added to the university’s achievements achieved through QOU’s students, graduates and faculty members by winning many awards locally, regionally and internationally.

In turn, Ms. Elham Kanaan thanked QOU, stressing that the academic level at the university is distinguished; pointing out that the university provides the appropriate educational environment for students’ creativity and distinction.

Ms. Kanaan mentioned that her team's project was characterized by creating solutions to solve problems in mathematics and building 3D simulations based on mathematics.
