Media Production Center (MPC)
Educational Media Production

Our main goal is to provide services for Al-Quds Open University and its students in the field of educational media to support the content of Al-Quds Open textbooks. The educational media is developed and produced in close co-operation of our media personnel with the academic advisors of QOU. The center's main tasks are as follows:
Planning + Consultation:
The Media Production Center gives consultation to the academic advisors in the matter of presentation of the educational material. A suitable format is decided upon such as TV-lecture, documentary film or dramatic presentation.

Scriptwriting + Pre-Production:
The script is written by the academic advisor upen the request of his department. Once the final draft is approved by the department of academic affairs, a shooting schedule is drawn up. |

Production:
The lecture or documentary film is being recorded, either in the studio or on location. If necessary, videotaping is done in the respective educational region.

Editing:
The videotaped material is edited. Post-production with audio editing and graphic design is completed. |

Final Revision:
The final video is sent to the director of the academic program who forms a committee to review it for final approval. If necessary, corrections are done by the MPC.
Our services in educational media include:

- Language Videos and Audio-CDs, - Live studio recordings, - Purchasing additional media.
