Refugees Studies File

Rationale:
The idea behind establishing the refugees Studies File, developed by AL-Quds Open University, came to ensure the important role that the university can play to serve national issues especially the Refugees cause. On the Other hand, it emphasizes the leading role the university also plays as one of the civic institutions of the Palestinian society that cares for the welfare of the Palestinian society and its members throughout the world. Moreover, the file stands as resourceful material for more scientific and academic research especially that of higher studies

Main objectives:
  • Encouraging research in refugees affairs and strongly reviving the tragic annual anniversary of the catastrophe of 1948 and the mass transfer of the Palestinian citizens from their home land.
  • Highlighting the case of refugees in Diaspora and defending their rights.
  • Publishing reports and results of researches about Palestinian refugees affairs.
  • Holding meetings ,symposiums, lectures and etc. about the case of Refugees.
  • Conducting survey studies and investigating opinions through questionnaires about issues related to refugees' problems.
  • Holding international conferences and forums and issuing brochures and pamphlets about the refugees Problems.
