The Participation of the Quality Control Department in the Meeting of the National Organization for the Approval, Accreditation and Quality of Higher Education

The Quality Control Department participated in the meeting of the National Organization for the Approval, Accreditation and Quality of Higher Education, which took place on September11, 2004, and attended by representatives from the Palestinian universities, Ministry of Higher Education and the World Bank. The participants discussed the idea of establishing a unit in the Palestinian universities, the aim of which is to ensure the high quality of education in every Palestinian university. The establishment of such a unit may help in saving financial resources from the World Bank to support the Palestinian universities. The representative of the World Bank gave a brief account about the project and the importance of the application of the quality assurance system in the Palestinian universities.
