Quality Department

Mission:

Members of the Committee of:

1. President of the University, (Head).
2. Vice President for Academic Affairs, (Member).
3. Vice President for Administrative Affairs, (Member).
4. Vice President for Gaza Affairs, (Member).
5. Directorate of Scientific Research and Higher Studies, (Member).
6. The Directorate of one of the Academic Programs, (Member).
7. The Directorate of one of the Educational Region, (Member).
8. Directorate of the Quality Control Department, (Committee Reporter).

Goals:
The following goals were set in order to achieve the mission of the Department:

• Establishing professional criteria for quality control in the university.
• Improving and developing the academic and administrative performance.
• Establishing a comprehensive self-evaluation system in the field of quality control in the university.

Tasks:
The Department adopted several tasks to achieve the desired goals in a scientific, practical way:

• Identifying the necessary techniques.
• Contributing towards the establishment of a quality control literature amongst the university staff.
• Evaluating the services and products which the university offers through the criteria set by the quality control committee.
• Presenting feedback about the results of implementing the laws and regulations and instructions according to the set criteria.

Hierarchical Structure:
The Department is directly linked with the president of the university through its director.
The Department consists of three parts:

• Standards and Principles.
• Control over Academic Performance.
• Administrative Control.

The Dept. is under construction. It should be expanded in order to include all the necessary fields.
