Middle Gaza Educational Region - Telephone No.: 08-2559250- Fax: 08-2559260 - E-Mail: gaza_c@qou.edu History of Middle Gaza Educational Region Middle Gaza Study Center was established in April 2002 as a branch of Gaza Educational Region, on Saladin Street, a main road connecting Gaza with Rafah. The aim of this center is to provide university education to a population of about quarter a million in mid Gaza Strip, in an area extends from Al-Zahra Region in the north to Abu Holi in the south, which includes cities, towns, villages and refugee camps that are frequently subjected to Israeli Army closures. This Israeli policy has led to the separation of Middle Gaza from Gaza city and Khan Younis.
