It was established in 1999 to serve about 60 towns, villages and refugee camps in Jenin District. The Study Center started in a-two storey building, and then additional stories have been added, until its area reached 1200 square meters. When QOU inaugurated Jenin Study Center, the number of the students who joined the center was 777, but this number jumped at the beginning of 2005 – 2006 academic year to 1728.
