Gaza Educational Region
Background:
In line with the vision of the university and its strategic objectives for the provision of university education on all Palestinian areas, founded the Gaza area education in 1992, the first educational zone set up by the University in the Gaza Strip, and since its inception has seen the university attracted scholars from different social strata, due to this high demand has made the university to move from its headquarters tenant to its permanent headquarters, which has built in the al-Nasser neighborhood in Gaza City. No choice of Gaza City, to be based first in the sector at random, it is the largest city in terms of area and more on the level of the population and contain most of the main centers of government institutions and non-governmental and international cities, as it highlighted the commercial sector. Campus:
Gaza Educational Region is now in a three-story building of 7870 square meters. In the ground floor, there is the Central Library, stores, and Martyr Mohammad AL-Khaldi Hall. In the first floor, there are the Administration offices, Department of Finance, Assignment Section, Public Relations, and Department of Registration, Admission and Exams. In the second floor, there are the offices of academic supervisors, in addition to some teaching halls and computer labs. In the third floor, there are several teachings halls, computer labs, Internet, and the Photocopying Section.
Central Library
There is a good Central Library in Gaza Educational Region, which is provided continually with books purchased mainly from local and international exhibitions.
Praying Place
The Educational Region provides its employees and students with a good place to be used as a mosque for both males and females.
