Amman Office
When the Palestinian National Council issued its decision in 1985 to establish Al-Quds Open University, its main headquarters was in Amman, where the preparations related to the construction of the administrative and academic structure of the university took place. It undertook the task of producing university textbooks, educational media, and televised lectures in accordance with open education and distance learning.
After the removal of the University Presidency to Palestine in 1992, Amman Office maintains the tasks of producing, developing and distributing university textbooks, educational media and televised lectures in Palestine and abroad. It also pursues the affairs of the university branches in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and represents the University Presidency in conferences about qualitative assurance in higher education, seminars and academic meetings that are held outside Palestine.
