Types of Courses Given
- Constitutive Courses (28 Credit Hours)
They are general courses required by all the university students regardless of their specializations. These courses are divided into two parts:
1. Compulsory Constitutive Courses (22 Credit Hours).
2. Optional Constitutive Courses (6 Credit Hours).
N.B. “The Islamic Culture”, a-three credit hour course is compulsory for students in Education Program, despite the fact that this course is included in the list of “Optional Constitutive Courses” in other programs.
- Main Courses (18-32 Credit Hours)
They are courses that constitute a broad base for all specializations in a certain Academic Program.
- Specialized Courses (69-81 Credit Hours)
They are courses given exclusively to students of a certain specialization.
- Free Courses (6 Credit Hours)
The student chooses these courses from outside his academic specialization.
N.B. Manpower Administration # 4201 and Organizational Behavior # 4202 are two alternative courses for students in Computer Information Systems.

- Technology and Applied Sciences Program
There are two specializations in this program:
- Computer Information Systems
- Information and Communication Technology
- Administration and Economic Sciences Program with the following specializations:
- Accountancy - Economics - Marketing - Finance - Business Administration
- Social and Family Development
There is one specialization in this program, which is
- Social Service
- Agriculture Program that contains the following specializations:
Agricultural Science
- Plant Breeding and Crop Protection
- Animal Breeding
