Academic Warning, Probation, and Dismissal
- A student who completes 15 credit hours, and whose cumulative grade average falls below (60%) will receive an Academic Warning from the director of his study center, and should be placed under "academic supervision"
- A student who completes 30 credit hours and fails to upgrade his cumulative grade average to (60%) after being warned and supervised should be placed on Academic Probation for the following semester.
- After completing 45 credit hours, students on Academic Probation must raise the cumulative average to at least 60% to be removed from academic probation. Students who fail to meet this condition will be placed on Terminal Probation in the following semester.
- If the student fails to raise his cumulative average to at least 59% after completing 60 credit hours while on Terminal Probation, s/he will be dismissed.
- Any student who succeeds to complete 99 credit hours should not be subject to academic dismissal.
- Students who have been academically dismissed have the right to shift form one specialization to another on condition that transferring from one specialization to another does not take place more than twice during their university years.
- Students who fail to earn their Bachelor degree after being registered at the University for more than 12 years should be dismissed. In this case, an official transcript of a student’s record will be issued by the Registrar's office.
- The Bachelor degree should not be awarded to students whose accumulative average is less than 60%.
