Courses of B.Sc Specialization in Computer Information Systems (CIS)

Objectives of Computer Information Systems:

This specialization aims, in general, to acquaint the students with the Computer Science and systems of computerized information and their applications, in addition to the principles of different management business, and finance sciences. to enable them to use the computer in the different business domains. The following are the most important objectives:

1. To provide students with the information and skills in the various domains of computer applications, coupled with developing in their right attitudes toward productive work, positive interaction with community and preparing them for working in the following domains:
   • Computer applications in domains of commerce, management..., etc.
   • Analyzing and designing systems in domains of commerce and management.
   • Developing supportive programmed systems.
   • Applying security and protection measures pertaining to information and computer systems.
   • Working in sales and marketing sectors of hardware and software.
   • Institutions and projects administration.
2. Providing students with the skills of communication in order to deal efficiently and professionally with the computer systems.
3. Organizing specialized training courses in the domain of information and computer technology to upgrade the capabilities of employees in the different sectors of connection with this specialization.
4. Improving students with the skills of usage computer systems in the various commercial and management activities.
