A B.A. in Administrative and Economic Science
Specialization: Marketing

The Specialization of Marketing aims at preparing and qualifying specialized national cadres in the field of marketing to meet the growing demand for marketing students in the various sectors of governmental and private economic activity.

General Objectives:

This Specialization aims at preparing the student properly so that s\he can:

  1. Define the contemporary thought trends in marketing.
  2. Study the consumption behavior, its limitations as well as strategic thinking.
  3. Define the market, its constituents and the common strategies of entering the markets locally, regionally and internationally.
  4. Identify the marketing environment and analyze its components locally and internationally.
  5. Define the target markets and analyze opportunities for entering them.
  6. Plan for products through the product’s life turnover.
  7. Develop commodities and devise new products.
  8. Plan the enterprises’ price policies.
  9. Identify the conventional and modern distribution channels.
  10. Promote commodities and master the planning of the selling effort.
  11. Master the art of negotiation and bargaining.
  12. Conduct marketing research and build marketing information systems through using the computer.
  13. Use quantitative methods in prediction.
