A B.A. in Administrative and Economic Science
Specialization: Economy

This specialization aims at preparing and qualifying specialized national cadres working in the field of economy and economic analysis in order to meet the growing demand in the various sectors of governmental and private economical activities.

General Objectives

  1. Define Economic Science – supply, demand, flexibilities, market balance in case of replacement, utility maximization, the influence of income and flexibilities, and the theory of production and cost.
  2. Define contemporary economic and monetary problems.
  3. Discuss the essence (substance) of money, its functions and value change.
  4. Identify theories of modern economical exchange.
  5. Define the concept and theories of Islamic Economy.
  6. Define the concept and theories of Agricultural Economy.
  7. Study the standard economical models as well as the structure of the economic sector and its limitations.
  8. Analyze the international monetary system, world trade, problems of the developing countries and the economic integration.
  9. Define economic planning, properties and constituents of successful economic planning.
  10. Comprehend the economics of business, supply and demand of employment in the business market in light of complete competition and sales monopolization.
