QOU represented by the Vice President for Student Affairs Prof. Mohammed Shahin participated in the 25th forum for Arab universities students training exchange that was hosted at the Misr University for Science and Technology in Dahab city in Egypt on 05-08/12/2018. Fifty-five universities from different arab countries participated in the forum which are Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Yemen and Libya.
Prof. Shahin presented a paper entitled “The Experience of the Palestinian Universities in the Arab Universities Students Trainings” in which he discussed the training and development methodology, the importance of the trainings for the students and the obstacles to the trainings. In addition to the role of the Arab Council for Students Training and Creativity in bridging the gap between the outputs of education and the needs of the labor market. He also suggested a number of procedures and recommendations for the Arab universities in general and the Palestinian universities in particular in order to guarantee the pursuit of developing the Arab Council for Students Training and Creativity and increasing the efficiency of the trainings implemented by the trainees and their sustainability.
