Prof. Samir Al-Najdi, Vice-President of Al-Quds Open University for Academic Affairs and Prof. Jihad Al-Batsh, Vice President for Gaza Strip Affairs, honored outstanding Coordinators of the Center for Continuing Education for their distinguished work during the past year in West Bank and the Gaza Strip Branches. The honoring ceremony came during the annual meeting of the Center for Continuing Education in Ramallah.
Mr. Mahmoud Al Hawamdeh, the Director of the Center for Continuing Education, who was also honored for his efforts to develop the work of the Center mentioned, "The Center for Continuing Education has been able to take remarkable steps in relation to the projects and the courses it carries out”.
Mr. Hawamdeh thanked Dr. Jihad Al-Batsh and Dr. Jalal Shabat, Assistant Director of the Center for Continuing Education in the Gaza Strip, for the remarkable work of the Center and achieving its successes despite the difficult circumstances of the life of our people in the Gaza Strip.
Eng. Mohammead Fahel, the Deputy Director of the Center for Continuing Education said that the work environment of the Center for Continuing Education is a creative one and that creativity and excellence are open to all. It is an environment encouraged by the University to develop and improve the work environment. 95% of the coordinators of continuing education perform tasks other than the tasks entrusted to them.
