QOU participates in the meetings of the CCIS in Tunisia

QOU participated in the eleventh annual meeting for the general committee of the Colleges of Computers and Information Society (CCIS) and the preparatory meeting of the executive committee that were held beside ACIT 2017 conference that was hosted by Sfax University in Mehari Hammamet Hotel.

The general committee meeting was held on Friday 22/12/2017 at 05:00 PM where Dr. Eng. Yousef Abu Zir represented the university.

The meeting was headed by the secretary general of the CCIS Dr. Mohammed Hasan, many issues were discussed like; hosting the conference, Arab universities memberships, Society’s journals, Society’s upcoming activities and networking with ALESCO.

Many universities in the Arab world participated in the meeting represented by deans of colleges of Computer and Information in the Arab world like; Saudi Arabia and other gulf countries, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya and other Arab countries.

The meeting was headed by the secretary general of the CCIS Dr. Mohammed Hasan where many issues were discussed like; hosting the conference, Arab universities membership, Society’s journals, next year’s upcoming activities and networking with ALESCO.

Many Arab universities participated in the conference represented by deans of the colleges of computers and information in the Arab world countries like; Saudi Arabia and other gulf states, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya and other Arab countries.  

Dr. Eng. Abu Zir participated in the executive committee meeting on Friday 21/12/2017 where issues related to the CCIS were discussed. During the conference, members of the executive committee were honored for concluding their memberships period and the membership of Dr. Eng. Yousef Abu Zir was extended to another period that lasts two years (2018-2020).
