The General Assembly of the Organization of the Espace Numérique Ouvert pour la Méditerranée e-Omed, elected Dr. Emad El-Hodaly, the President Assistant for External Affairs, as a member of the Board of Directors of e-Omed. This came during a recent meeting on the campus of the University of Kaslik in Beirut.
It is worth noting that Al-Quds Open University is elected for the third consecutive year as a member in the Board of Directors of the Organization since its establishment in 2011. The election of Dr. Al-Hodali as a member of this institution comes as a continuation of the University's membership represented by Prof. Younes Amr, who was elected unanimously in the first session in 2011 in Toulon city in France.
The new board of directors, included representatives of French, Tunisian, Algerian and Lebanese universities, as well as the State of Palestine, represented by Al Quds Open University.
On the other hand, Dr. Al-Hodali represented Al-Quds Open University in the international conference held on the sidelines of the meeting of the General Assembly of the Organization in partnership with the University of Kaslik, in addition to holding a meeting with the officials at the host university represented by Vice President Mr. Talal Hashem to dicuss the opportunity of establishing cooperation agreement between the two universities.
