QOU and the Monitoring and Evaluation team at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education hold an assessment meeting

 The Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al-Quds Open University and the Monitoring and Evaluation Team at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) held an evaluation meeting for the activities of the first group of trainees teachers  at the  improving the preparation and rehabilitation of teachers of grades (1-4)project , which is  funded by the World Bank.

Dr. Majdy Zamel, pointed out that the objective of the evaluation meeting is to explore the views of academic supervisors who train teachers on the quality of the components of the project represented by the SBTD, achievement files, learning sessions, lectures, and the mechanisms of distance communication between trainees and trainers.

 Dr. Matar, Director of Measurement and Evaluation at the Ministry said that this evaluation activity was preceded by activities related to holding meetings for focus group with trained teachers in several areas supervised by Al Quds Open University to train teachers (Jenin, Qalqiliya, Ramallah and Hebron). He added that the Assessment and Evaluation Department is working on developing a series of evaluation reports for the project, benefiting from the outcomes of these evaluation meetings. The recommendations of these reports will be presented to the educational decision makers and partner universities while the follow-up consultative meetings between the university and the M & E team will resume to develop research studies on teachers’ rehabilitation benefiting from experiences and action researches provided by teachers who participated in the training program
