QOU and Anti-Corruption Commission sign an agreement on the adoption of an academic course on anti-corruption

 Al-Quds Open University and the Anti-Corruption Authority (ACC) signed an agreement on the adoption of an academic course on combating corruption within the university's academic plans.

The agreement was signed by Prof.  Younes Amr, President of the University and  HE Rafiq Al Natsheh, Chairman of ACC in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Education and Higher Education.HE Dr. Sabri Sidem. The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the National Educational Institute of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Al-Bireh.

The agreement is in line with the national strategy to combat corruption and in line with the educational role played by institutions of higher education in Palestine to promote the principles of transparency, integrity through presenting a new course  "Anti-Corruption: Challenges and Solutions" starting from the second semester (2017-2018) within the elective courses.

Dr. Saidam praised the signing agreements, which will strengthen the anti-corruption approach, focusing on the university and college students, while praising the efforts of the Anti-Corruption Commission to combat corruption and its causes.
