A study recommends focusing on organic farming to produce healthy oil

 A study entitled: "Production of organic free of chemicals oil from the point of view of olive growers in Hebron" and prepared by the researcher at the Faculty of Agriculture at Al-Quds Open University Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Afaneh, recommends increasing the number of organic olive farms to include all villages that plant olives.

The researcher mentioned in his study the consequences of long-term exposure to chemicals on health are not yet all known,  but the scientific research suggests that there is a relationship between pesticides used in agriculture and a series of diseases of depression, memory weakness , mood swings, and cancer .
