The president of the University -in coordination with the Board of Trustees- is responsible for managing the academic, administrative and financial affairs in accordance with the bylaws and regulations of the University. Furthermore, the president chairs the University Council and forms various specialized committees to manage the different affairs of the University. Moreover, the president represents the University at local and international agencies and organizations in regards of various academic matters.
Other tasks include coordination of the president and his staff with the various departments and centers to manage and monitor the daily operations of the University. Furthermore, the president is responsible for the initiation and follow up of strategic development plans, and the supervision of the operations of the different branches with their faculties and departments. Consequently, the president contributes to the achievement of the University’s goals, alongside its vision and mission that aim towards the continuous advancement in order to achieve excellence and leadership.
