Mr. Samer Omar

Mr. Samer Omar has recently joined Qualys, a leading Vulnerability Management company which also provides integrated Policy Compliance and Web Application Scanning in a SaaS model, as the Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa.. Prior to joining Qualys, Mr. Omar founded Business Security Gurus in May 2000 as a company focused on providing best of breed security solutions. During this period, he also worked as a Security Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton on several projects in the Public Sector.

Mr. Omar served as Founder/Consultant at Business Security Gurus until it formed a joint venture in the Middle East with IT Security Training & Solutions, where he was the Chief Executive Officer and remains a non-executive Board Member. Mr. Omar brings to the Middle East a vision of end-to-end security solutions based on the concept of Security Empowerment through Security Education. He brings more than eighteen years of Information Technology experience to the company, including extensive work with mission critical Operation Support Systems, Business Support Systems & Applications, and IT Security. Over the past five years, Mr. Omar has made I(TS)2 into a recognized regional market leader in information security and placed a top 10 position in the Saudi Fast Growth 100 the past three years, including two top 5 finishes. He also launched the region's first world-class MSS through a strategic partnership with Verisign/SecureWorks. He intends to leverage these successes to expand Qualys throughout the region and promote more SaaS offerings the company plans to release in the near future.

Prior to joining I(TS)2, Mr. Omar worked for Extent Technologies as Chief Operating Officer for 2½ years, where he helped grow the company 400% and successfully sold its technology solution to Formula Telecom Group – a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ. Before his accomplishments there, Mr. Omar worked as a consultant launching an ISP in Saudi Arabia. His career also includes being the IT LAN/WAN Director for Teligent, a wireless communications provider based in Vienna, Virginia. While a Director for Teligent, Mr. Omar played a fundamental role in launching the company in more than 20 markets worldwide in less than one year. In 1996, he helped launch GlobalNet, an ISP that was one of the first to introduce Premise Networking and Content Filtration based on Artificial Intelligence. GlobalNet sold its domestic business to Verio, a NASDAQ publicly traded company ISP. Mr. Omar has also consulted for U.S. government agencies such as Department of Defense (DOD), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Department of Treasury, and Department of Interior (DOI) as a IT and Security consultant.

Muntaser Bdair

For over 17 years, Mr. Bdair has been Information security, education and certification/certificate program; and information technology professional serving business and government clients in Middle East, USA, and Europe.

In 2003, he co-founded IT Security Training and Solutions I(TS)2, a premier provider of Information security training, solutions, and consultancy company. In his role as a Chief Operation Officer (COO), he was responsible for technical delivery of I(TS)2 services offerings including information security training, network and system security solutions, consultancy services, and managed security services to clients in Saudi Arabia, Middle East, and Africa (MENA). In 2011, Mr. Bdair founded IT Security Consulting & Training – IT Security C&T to empower organization in Palestine to address information security challenges.

Mr. Muntaser Bdair is also an (ISC)2/BSI/Mile2 certified CISSP/ISO27001/CPTE trainer and has been delivering security in MENA, USA, and Europe

Raymond Friedman

Mr. Raymond Friedman is the CEO and President of mile2, a global IT Security Training and Information Assurance organization. Raymond has been involved in the Internet Technology Space since 2002 where he worked as an executive at Creative Business Concepts in Irvine California. There at CBC, the organization worked in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigations to engage both public and private sector for cyber security readiness and emergency response to internet crimes. While Raymond was at CBC, he developed proprietary ethical hacking curriculum for Cisco Networks as well as Microsoft Applications.

In 2007 , Mr. Friedman was brought on to direct all the executive affairs at mile2. At mile2, Mr. Friedman further developed the famous certified penetration testing engineer certification line and as well as expand Mile2's broad security training certifications. Presently, mile2 emphasizes in security consulting and proprietary certifications for Penetration Testing, Secure Coding, Digital Forensics, and Disaster Recovery to government and corporate institutions.

Raymond Holds a Master's degree in Accounting with a focus on Controller/Forensics as well as mile2's CISSO, CPTE and CDFE certifications.
