Introduction
The Nakba resulted in the displacement of 800 thousand out of the 1.4 million Palestinians who lived in historical Palestine in 1,300 villages and towns. Under resolution 194, the United Nations affirmed, for more than 100 times during the past 52 years, the right of refugees to return to their homes and lands. This Resolution goes beyond Resolution 242, which was intended to remove the effects of the aggression of 1967, and it does not contradict with the partition Resolution 181 plan, which provides the Palestinians the right of return to their homes regardless of the sovereignty of the State in which they live. Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights guarantees the right of return and stems from the sanctity of private property, which does not retrograde by occupation, neither by sovereignty nor time.
The Faculty of Educational Sciences at al-Quds Open University and the Refugee Affairs Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) seek to shed light on the situation of the Palestinian refugees, review the American positions and goals towards the refugee issue and develop a political and national strategy capable of facing the challenges that face the Palestinians.
Objectives
The conference aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Dimensions, impact, and aims of the US attempts to end UNRWA and stop its funding.
- The position of the Arab and Islamic countries on refugee issues.
- Formulating a political and national strategy capable of standing up to the challenges facing the Palestinian people.
- Delve into the situation of Palestinian refugees in all their places of residence and work to identify their needs and provide them.
- Encouraging scientific research and academic debate among Palestinian academics on current and future refugee issues.

- The future of refugees within the current situation in Arab countries

- The future of refugees within the current Palestinian context.

- The escalation of racist Israeli laws "Nation state law".
Terms and Conditions for Participation (Submission of Papers)
- The research should fulfill the elements of scientific research
- Research papers that have been previously presented in other conferences or published in any journal are not accepted.
- The research topic should be related to one of the conference themes
- Researches must be submitted in Arabic or English. Each research should include an abstract in both Arabic and English language.
- The research must be submitted in an electronic copy typed in a Word file, font 14 Simplified Arabic, with 1.0 line spacing, and should not exceed 20 pages .
- The abstract should be around 150 words, for both languages.
- The submitted researches will be peer reviewed and the received researches shall not be returned to their owners

- Abstracts, with a brief description of the researcher including (name, place of work, academic rank, e-mail, and mobile number) must be submitted by e-mail no later than 10/6/2019.
- The results of the arbitration shall be sent to researchers no later than 14/6/2019.
- Research shall be submitted in final form no later than 8/8/2019.
- The results of the research arbitration shall be sent to the researchers no later than 15/8/2019.
- The researcher shall submit his/her research, after making the required amendments, no later than 20/8/2019.
- The conference will be held on 23rd of September, 2019, at Al-Quds Open University Theater in Hebron.
