Al-Quds Open University and The Young Women's Christian Association YWCA signed a Memorandum of Understanding that aims to strengthen their partnership and cooperation in implementing training programs, activities, and events offered by YWCA to female students and graduates of QOU in order to develop and enhance their scientific, practical, and life skills, and make it easier for them to participate in the labor market.

The President of QOU, Prof. Samir Najdi, stated that this Memo aligns with the role of QOU in the development of Palestinian society, particularly young men and women, in terms of developing their personalities and guiding them to serve the community, engage in the labor market, and be role models and ambassadors for the university wherever they are.

As the general secretary of the YWCA, Ms. Amal Tarazi, noted, "Students need training and rehabilitation before entering the labor market so that they are able to work efficiently and professionally upon graduation. This cooperation creates opportunities for all and contributes to achieving the goals of the Association." Tarazi also affirmed that this memo is a starting point for joint cooperation with Al-Quds Open University in implementing programs and projects aimed at young men and women, and contributes to empowering them economically and socially and praising the university's important role in serving our people.
