Re-electing Al-Quds Open University as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association Open Digital Space for the Mediterranean (e-Omed)

The General Assembly of the (e-Omed) re-elected Al-Quds Open University, represented by Dr. Eng. Imad Hodali, Assistant President of Al-Quds Open University for Public and International Relations and Media Affairs, as a member of the organization's Board of Directors for the period (2022-2024).

This came during the meetings of the old administrative body and the general assembly, which were held over two days in Paris and in which Dr. Al-Hodali participated via Zoom technology.

It is worth noting that QOU has been elected for the fourth time in a row to the Board of Directors of the organization since the  founding of the association in 2011, noting that Prof.  Younes Amr, was elected unanimously in the first session in 2011 in Toulon, France, while the university was elected for the second time  in 2014 at "Montpellier University”, which hosts the Association  headquarters, and for the third time in 2017 during the meetings of the General Assembly at the University of Kaslik in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The new Board of Directors includes Dr. Molka Bel Cadhi as the President representing the Virtual University of Tunis,  Mr. Francois Henn as the Vice President, and the membership of representatives from French, Tunisian, Algerian and Lebanese universities, as well as the State of Palestine represented by Al-Quds Open University, noting that the distribution of positions to the new administrative body will take place during a meeting that will be held On March 28, 2022.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Al-Hodali held the position of Vice President of the Organization for Media Affairs during the last session (2017-2021.)

International Association Open Digital Space for the Mediterranean (e-Omed) aims to promote and develop the digital content of higher education institutions in the Mediterranean countries.
