"Equal" conference for the Middle East and North Africa in Tunisia

 Al-Quds Open University, represented by Prof. Majdi Zamel,  Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, and Dr. Fakhry Dweikat, a faculty member at the University branch in Nablus, at the "Equal" conference for the Middle East and North Africa, held by the "Global Ties Center" at New York University, in partnership with the Catalyst Foundation and The Sustainable Development Solutions Network in Hammamet, Tunisia, and with the distinguished participation of researchers, educators, international organizations and decision-makers from several countries: Morocco, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Lebanon, India and America. The conference aimed to discuss the role of scientific research in supporting achieving the fourth development goal of the United Nations, and to present the findings of research projects funded by the "Equal" global network, exchange experiences between researchers, and discuss future steps.

Prof.  Zamil and Dr. Dweikat, presented the results of the research project for developing the competencies of kindergarten teachers in Palestine, which the Faculty of Educational Sciences obtained from the "Equal" global network in 2019, and concluded a  number of recommendations at the level of the Ministry of Education, and at the level of kindergarten teachers in Palestine.

It is worth noting that (18) researches were presented in the conference by researchers, educators, and representatives of international institutions and organizations, including: The World Bank, New York University, Al-Quds Open University, An-Najah University, Al-Quds University,  the Palestinian Ministry of Education, Al Qasimi Foundation, and Dubai Care.
